We start of with new trailers for Umbrella Academy and Venom.
We compare both projects for their quality and consistency so far and look forward to watching and discussing them when they arrive.
This week begins our plan to read more of the Eisner nominated works we may have missed last year. We kick things off with The Cull. It was nominated for best limited series. This is written by Kelly Thompson and drawn so beautifully well by Natalia de Iulius.
The book follows 5 friends who discover a portal to elsewhere. We attempt to break down every aspect of the series from the plot and how the mechanics of the world works to the characterisation.
This leads to some interesting discussion on how stories are sometimes approached differently for both genders
